Armin Only White Party - Sydney Showground

The 9th of june was a very important day to all the Trance lovers in Sydney. Having the MAN Armin Van Buuren dj #2 in the world to play in Sydney for 6 hours nonstop was a dream of many people.

I am not going to introduce this man more because I am sure everyone already knows him so I am going to get straight to the main point.

This event was one of a kind. I got to Sydney showground at 11 where I saw hundreds of people outside waiting to get in. All dressed in white and ready to party all night long. People from all kinds wants to see this man. From poor people that could hardly afford buying a ticket to people that got to the event in limousines.
I was so excited getting in there, same as all the other crowed. Mark James was already warming up the night for Armin Van Buuren as it really should be warmed up. This guy really knew what he was doing. He played very beautiful sounds of progressive and melodic trance getting the crowed to move to his beats slowly slowly.

At midnight it was time for Armin to give us some love. A great introduction from the MC of the night made the crowed get even more excited to see Armin playing. Armin opened his set with some great Electro and Progressive trance tunes. Threw the set Armin builded it up from Melodic, Uplifting, Vocal and Tech Trance making the crowed go NUTS. Playing tunes that are not even out yet to classics from the first days of trance. And as I am pretty sure, everyone was waiting to hear Communication as its one of Armin’s biggest Hits. When that played everyone was really getting crazy and also while playing Adagio for Strings, Advanced and many other great tracks. Armin have also played many of his own tracks such as Shivers, This world is watching me, Sail, Rush house and more...

Now Lets talk about the production of this event. Future Entertainment & Sublime did some really good job there. The sound I heard in this venue was very rare for me to hear anywhere else I have been to. The sound was Crystal clear, it wasn’t too loud or distorted and it wasn’t even low, it was just PERFECT sound and I enjoyed that to the max!!!
The lightings were amazing and gave a very special look for the venue. Everything was set upped as it should be. I have been to that venue before and never seen it as great as that night. The Lighting guys also did great job with working with the lights showing some great Lights effects that works great for the music.

Offcourse I will not forget the VIP level which was so beautiful to be in. Go on top of all the crowed and see all these people jumping up and down nonstop. All you see is white people and beautiful stage with 1 great Dj and the huge screen that gave great look for the stage.

I agree with Amo, It was really well thought up & manifested But I have heard the comment that;
"The themeing was like a background. If you don't notice it, you would miss it. If you were dancing & having a good time, the special moments would just pass you by.
The advantage that ANOT Summer Festival had over this was that Summer Festival, the special moments PULLED YOU IN.... involving you in the moment & sweeping you along the journey!!!"
Just to remind everyone who missed ANOT SF that they DID!!!

Armin was SO GREAT & I would love a DVD of your vids if possible AMO (I would pay sumpin?!?)

how can u say is shit? how can u say a prreferenece is shit? u need to be more cultured and understand that armin is up there with the best producer/DJ. maybe you dont like the style. that doesnt make him shit. thats like saying Pink FLoyd is shit. When really i dont understand the music or havnt bothered to REALLY listen. (I dont think Pink Floyd is shit by the way, i think they are great)
