Having just completed a 10 hour drive to Surfers Paradise and then 10 hours back. I have a really weird gripe. Every time I went to pass a slower driver in an overtaking lane as soon as they saw me they would speed up. It was like the suddenly realised "Hey i'm going a bit slow let speed up". It was really odd. Donna also observed this.

After careful thought I have decided that I am going to move my personal blog from www.joshuavanaalst.com to redirect here.

I have noticed that that the Blog part of the site is one of the least used and one of the most enjoyable. Hopefully by leading by example others will start to blog on Josh and Friends too.

When I launched the Josh and Friends awards a week or so ago I was a little worried as a new venture like this one is something that could generate strong support or simply fizzle out.

So far everyone is really getting into the awards which is fantastic! the award voting has also have drawn many new faces to our wonderful community. Welcome aboard.

I believe these awards really bridge the gap left open by InTheMix which is dominated by House and Electro and MixMag which...

Seriously. How pathetic is it that the Liberal party is saying that if Labor gets voted in in 13 seats the Liberal party will take them to court saying they were illegible for minor infringements.

If the people don't want you in they don't want you in!

Challenging the other party in court only goes against the foundations of democracy.

Very un-Australian.

The site is evolving so much recently. You can no longer just go to the forums and see who's online. That figure now means nothing. You'll find 20 people chatting in the forums, 10 reading content on the site (event, downloads, profiles e.t.c.) and another 5 checking out the gallery.

It's all happening!
